Sweepstakes & Giveaways - Verified Prize Draws

Sweepstakes and giveaways are prize draws where you enter for a chance to win a product, a voucher, or a trip - no purchase required. This hub collects the draws we've checked before listing: who's running them, who can enter, and how the promoter picks and contacts the selected entrant.

How these offers work is straightforward. You fill out a form on the promoter's landing page - usually a name and email, sometimes a mailing address if a physical prize is involved. Entry is free. The promoter then selects an entrant at random, or via a judging panel for skill-based draws, and contacts them using the details they provided. You never pay to enter a legitimate sweepstake, and you're never asked to wire money or pay shipping to release a prize.

What you actually have to do varies by draw. Some ask for a single form. Others add a short survey or a referral step that earns bonus entries. A few are run by brands testing a new product and select a handful of entrants to receive it and share feedback. We list what each draw involves on its offer page so you can decide whether it's worth your time before you hand over your details.

What to expect: most draws run for a set period and select a winner after the closing date. If you're selected, the promoter contacts you - usually by email. Delivery of a physical prize can take several weeks. You won't hear back if you aren't selected; that's normal, not a sign anything went wrong. Draws with very large prize pools attract many entrants, so the odds of being selected are low - treat each entry as a small time investment, not a plan.

How to spot a bad one: a legitimate draw states who can enter, when it closes, and how the promoter picks and notifies the selected entrant - usually in a linked official rules page. Be cautious of draws that bury the rules, pressure you to act in minutes, or ask for payment, card details, or a subscription to claim a prize. Real sweepstakes never require a purchase. If a landing page feels vague or aggressive, skip it.

A few habits keep this useful. Use a dedicated email address for draws so your main inbox stays clean. Read the official rules before entering - they override any summary. Check the verified date on each listing so you know it's still open. And if a draw isn't available in your country, the country switcher will show you what is. We refresh this hub regularly and remove anything that's closed or gone quiet.
