Editorial Policy

Our editorial standards define what we publish, how we describe offers, and how we handle the push and pull between affiliate revenue and honest reporting. This page is our commitment to you.

How We Choose Offers

We only list offers that meet all of these criteria:

  • The base reward is genuinely free. No purchase is required to get the stated reward.
  • The company behind the offer is identifiable, reachable, and has a real web presence.
  • The reward is stated in concrete terms ("$25 Amazon gift card", "full-size shampoo sample"), not vague promises.
  • The requirements to claim are transparent and stated before you begin.
  • The offer is available in at least one of our supported countries (US, CA, UK, AU, NZ).

We reject offers that:

  • Require payment or credit card info without clearly disclosing it upfront.
  • Use deceptive tactics: fake countdowns, fake scarcity, "you won" pop-ups, or hidden subscription enrollment.
  • Are run by companies with a pattern of complaints about non-delivery or unauthorized charges.
  • Make you spam friends or post on social media to unlock the reward.

How We Handle Affiliate Relationships

Freebies House earns a commission when you complete an offer through our links. That is how we keep the site free for you. But affiliate revenue never affects:

  • Which offers we list. We publish offers based on their value to you, not their payout to us.
  • How we describe an offer. We state the requirements, the catch, and the downsides regardless of how much we earn.
  • Whether an offer is marked as "recommended." Recommendations are based on user value, ease of claiming, and how recently we verified the offer. Never on payout rate.
  • Whether negative information appears. If an offer has a real downside, we say so. We never accept payment to remove or soften criticism.

Our affiliate disclosure appears in the footer of every page and right above the call-to-action on every offer page. All outbound affiliate links carry rel="nofollow sponsored" attributes.

Content Guidelines

Honesty Over Hype

We describe offers factually. No "amazing," "incredible," or "once-in-a-lifetime." If an offer is boring, we say so.

Clear Requirements

Every offer page lists exactly what you need to do, how long it takes, and what info the company collects. No fine print buried in the description.

No Fake Urgency

We never use countdown timers, "only X left" claims, or live-claim counters. Those are manipulative tactics that have no place on a trustworthy site.

Corrections Are Public

When we get something wrong, we fix it and note the correction. You can see the updated date on every page.

Correction Policy

If we publish incorrect information about an offer (wrong eligibility, outdated requirements, inaccurate reward description), we correct it as soon as we are aware. Corrections are made inline, and the page's updated date reflects the change.

If you spot an error, please contact us. We review all reader reports within 48 hours and re-verify the offer if needed.

This editorial policy was last updated on July 31, 2026. We may revise it as our practices evolve. Significant changes will be noted on this page with a new date.
